I do like this plugin though(both Melodic and Rhythm). Aeon does some really cool creative things with the organic patches, absolutely loving the combo instruments and the ability to punish it when things get heavy. No I don't like over the top distortion on all presets.
I think it's a real shame and would love to use them, but not like that.thank you for sharing StoneGrey. I think it's a real shame and would love to use them, but not like that. We have the red in the meters for some reason. While Evolve excels at the dramatic and will thrill composers, any musician would appreciate the massive array of slick sounds present in Heavyocity’s impressive debut. So in other words I am really unhappy and would buy their stuff if it was possible to have their sounds without digital distortion and reverb as to be able to use them dry or with the distortion I choose. Evolve is sonically superb, with some seriously good sound design throughout. That to me means that half their work is useless. Now I wonder if there are people who like that and people that don't, why did they not make a distortion effect to choose? Well, they didn't.
#HEAVYOCITY EVOLVE VS AEON FULL#
To me it's comparable to digital image noise or the type of pixelation that used to occure at the beginning of digital TV transmission.Īnd Heavyocity's sample libraries are full of digital distortion (!!!)
The next thing I hate is digital distortion. Marvellously sounding percussion, but each sample had been mixed (even in the original sample loaded into each Kontakt intrument) with that shaker (!!!!). They left reverb on many samples and they mixed the sound of a shaker in together with some sounds of percussion. They did something in Evolve Mutations I I hated.
